Your host Michelle was born in Trinidad and has a reputation as a very good cook. Michelle was commissioned by The Cotton House Hotel on the island of Mustique , a holiday destination for the extremely rich. People such as Mick Jagger(Rolling Stones) Bryan Adams , Shania Twayne, Tommy Hillfiger and the like, have all had Michelle’s rotis.
Roti is a healthy meal. We use only the best quality products. None of our food contains preservatives . We do not fry any of our foods. Vegetarian rotis are also available.
Our rotis are not pepper hot, in fact they are kid friendly. Pepper sauce is added on request.
As well as rotis, Trinidad is probably best known as the inventor of the steel pan, the only new musical instrument invented in the 20th century . It is also known as the Land of the Humming Bird, as there are over 200 different species on the island.
Those of you who follow cricket would remember Brian Lara as a famous batsman for the West Indies. Brian is a Trinidadian.

The Caribbean ( Trinidad) Roti
Roti is generally an Indian unleavened bread. Naan bread is a leavened bread.The roti is used as a wrap to encapsulate various types of meat and vegetables all made with exotic spices and curries from the Caribbean.
This lovely meal originated in Trinidad and Tobago. Although available throughout the Caribbean and parts of The USA as well as the UK, the best Rotis still come from Trinidad.
I wonder!! Could it be possible the best Rotis are now available right here in Deception Bay?
